Self defense school

I am not one to write reviews but I can't say enough about Fusion MMA. The structure of the Jiu Jitsu program is top notch. Instead of randomly working on skills they designed the program to make sure each student understands the basics of the Martial Art before moving on. They also have done this with me for the past year in a safe and positive environment. Jeff, Ian, Kyle, and all of the instructors are great teachers and super knowledgeable. Can't recommend enough. Time to join.

I'm really happy with the time my son has spent with Master Jeh these past few months. I appreciate the effort and structure that goes into the lessons. My son is 4 and has already progressed in a short period of time. Hard work, technique, disapline, respect and patience are just some of the many skills kids learn here. Of all the activities I've signed my kid up for..Taekwondo with Master Jeh is definitely the most valuable. The dojang is very clean...and his credentials are impressive. Great guy!

The BEST self defence training there is. This is real practical self defence, taught in a realistic manner that will ultimately prepare you for virtually any potentially dangerous situation you may find yourself in. I highly recommend Omri and his Krav Maga school of self defence.

Teaches a very unique and practical style of karate with excellent instruction!

My daughter loves Quest Martial Arts Academy since day one. She usually takes a time to warm up to new people, but Mr. Rowe is so good with children that she enjoyed the class right away! Ms Jill and Ms Melissa are awesome instructor and very caring as well! My daughter always feels special and part of the Quest community when she’s there. She loves the classes!

My wife and daughter go to Danforth Karate Academy and they love it. The instructors have integrity, are professional AND fun. When we enrolled my daughter into the school I wanted to make sure she would get the right balance of discipline and fun - basically not be scared off by it - and I can't believe what she is capable of doing and it's not even been a full year yet!Her confidence levels have boosted, she is becoming more agile and aware, stronger and disciplined. She also gets to take the family class with her mother - you can't beat that anywhere. Hands down I'm so happy they are being mentored and guided by the instructors at DKA - no gimmicks - straight up Karate.

I wanted to learn self-defence over the summer and decided to take up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing. After visiting and trying out several martial arts dojo in Toronto, I chose InnerCity MMA because of the positive atmosphere, the downtown location, and the bargain price. InnerCity MMA provides a warm, nurturing, ego-free, fun, and friendly training environment. Professor Franco is an extremely experienced and tremendously knowledgeable martial arts practitioner. I took the Level I Women’s Self Defence Course with my 14 year old daughter and I was so impressed by what we learned. We learned easy, practical techniques to help keep us safe in unwanted situations. The four instructors were so knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even better. We can’t wait to take Level 2, I would highly recommend everyone to take this course.
